Every morning is beautiful and this is a view from our front balcony; we're on the 2nd floor.
This building has a wonderful history and we'll share more about it with you as soon as we 'catch our breath'.
I can't say enough about how kind, gentle and fun-loving the people are.
And Granada is superb .... it's more than I had ever expected and Willa and I haven't stopped very often to 'catch our breath'. We've met some of the most interesting travellers and our next door neighbour is Lisa, a lovely lady from Vancouver. She's here to continue learning her Spanish and next month her husband will join her too! Tonight we went to a Fundraiser for the Centro de Arte and we sipped wine and nibbled chocolate too! Later on we went for dinner at Jimmy "Three Fingers" Alabama Rib Shack Bar & Grill and although the ambience was nice, the food wasn't great! Jimmy really is missing a finger and had we been able to stay until 10pm we would have seen him play a mean guitar, etc.
I'm glad you got it. I love knowing you guys are having fun! Doing and giving...typical for both of you. Love going on the trip with you...keep that posting...
ReplyDeleteGreat site Winn,am at my local Elks lodge,lost a few bucks in cards watch ing TV now,no drinking this week.Know Jimmy from 2007 andhis old place stayed at his hotel if you see him again sey Jersey Brian sends regards,Hotel Dario is a nice place for a burger or cake its not really expensive and has a great interior also they do a paella on Sunday ,there also a place on street behind Dario that serves nice sandwiches &breakfast and has a nice inside garden closes at 3 though.Yes time flys there thats how I ended up staying months at a clip,thanks for complement on drawings
